Montois Partners Architects will join "La Compagnie du Paysage" in order to study the development and rearranging of the "Parc de la Senne" and its connection to the "Parc du 21 Juillet" in Brussels. The project aims for the development of a "green space" along the Senne's ancient river side, proposing pedestrian and bike paths, splitting from time to time into secondary roads. These paths will serve resting areas, playgrounds and sport zones, communitarian vegetable gardens, pick nick areas and even a square with a fountain; Creating a pleasant friendly atmosphere. Studies for this development include: rebuilding or demolishing some walls adjoining the park, establishment of lighting, building footbridges for disabled people as well as the construction of gates and fences for closing street-fronts; and reorganization of the surroundings such as sidewalks and road crossings.
