The very low energy new building is located along the Etterbeek street. The ground floor houses serveral commercial units and features 109 parking spaces in the rear side. The existing Esplanade of the Residence Palace is extended to the entire site and is converted into a green public space accessible by a monumental staircase. It gives access to the theater and the pool at the Residence Palace and the Block E (57 units). The building includes 62 apartments from the 2d to the 9th level. Energy consumption is greatly reduced due to a very high insulation (15cm thick in frontage and 30 cm on the roof reaching an average K value of 27).This hig ernegy performance is also due to a dual flow ventilation with high efficiency heat rotary recovery system.
