Braine L'Alleud / Belgique
Located in Braine L'Alleud, this project is the "second phase" of the residential program intended for Parc de L'Alliance. Its location is beneficed by the different roadways passing near-by: Such as Boulevard de l'Alliance, connecting the Parc with the Urban City Center; Chaussée de Nivelles and Brussel's Highway. Also, a new train station is planned to be constructed by the SNCB, on site.
The project consists of two residential buildings, with 36 and 22 apartments each. Besides their residential function, spaces are provided on the ground-floor for shops and/or office renting.
The general intent of the project is to offer a large range of quality apartments, low-income energy consumers, with the willingness of reaching passive-housing. All of this, within a contemporary architectural style, respectful of the "inhabited park concept" established on site. Facades are animated by the apartment's "green houses" and terraces which help integrate the project with the environment's nature.
