Palais-Poste

The project is an urban sewing linking elements which are very different in natures and sizes (R+2+T and R+8). The streets are sloped. The two wings of the buildings are built around a public garden. This space is also a circulation area and a meeting place for residents. The project features 94 apartments and a surface for professional services. The accommodations are predominantly 2 to 3 bedrooms allowing to host families, some studios and one bedroom apartments complete the diversity of housing supply. Parking for the entire complex is divided into two separate entities under fire compartmentation. The contemporary architectural expression in the facade is in harmony with the urban context in the neighborhood by the vertical subdivision volumes and vertical tripartition of each section. Using bouw-windows offers a volumetric appearance in the building line map. Sliding sunshade shutters will add a discreet and changing decorative touch.
